Hobbs State Park Memorial Day Activities
Memorial Day Weekend is time for family activities at Hobbs State Park – Conservation Area. Bring a picnic lunch to the park, and enjoy the outdoors and the freshness of a new spring.
Sunday May 25
• Seven different hiking trails from 3/10 mi. to 9 mi.
• 24 miles of biking/horse trails
• Ozark Plateau Trail scavenger hunt any time of the day
• 10 AM Guided Ozark Plateau trail hike – 3/10 mi.
• 10 AM – 1 PM Wildflower Identification
• Noon – 1 PM “Make and Take Flower Crowns”
• Noon – 3 PM 5th Anniversary and party celebrating the Park’s 5th birthday – free cake and refreshments
• 1 PM – 4 PM “Mammal Skulls”
• 2 PM Guided Historic Van Winkle Trail hike – ½ mi.
• 3 PM Nature Detective
