All About Bears

Denis Dean, Master Wildlife Conservationist and Project WILD facilitator has found a fond spot in his heart for bears in general, and specifically Arkansas black bears.  “Bears are fascinating creatures” Dean says.  “They are emotional animals that readily express themselves with meaningful grunts and body language, and few people know that bears have their young during hibernation – when mama is asleep.”

Dean will highlight interesting facts about all 8 species of bears that inhabit the earth.  His presentation, another in the Friends of Hobbs Speaker Series, is appropriate for all ages.
