Second Annual Adult Spelling Bee

Crawford County Volunteers for Literacy will hold its second Annual Adult Spelling Bee, at the Van Buren Public Library, 1409 Main Street, Van Buren, AR, on Thursday,  October 24th, 2013, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm . Three person teams sponsored by local businesses and organizations will be competing. The Bee will be following the Scripps National Spelling Bee rules for competitions. Admission to the spelling bee is free. There will be drawings for door prizes donated by area businesses. Tickets for the drawings will be available for $1. each or 6 for $5. Come out and cheer for a team. A trophy will be given to the best “Cheer Team” as decided by the audience. Drinks and popcorn will also be available for purchase.
