Announcing FUSE event on Friday, August 9!

Steve Graves, author of newly released “The Hero Leader” to speak on effective leadership

Rogers, Ark, July 2, 2013 — WorkMatters is excited to announce their upcoming FUSE event on Friday, August 9 at the John Q Hammons Convention Center.  Networking and check-in will begin at 11:30 am.  The hour-long lunch and program will begin at noon. Business leaders including many from J.B. Hunt Transport, Tyson Foods, Walmart and many others will be in attendance.  Tickets are now available.

“FUSE is a professional event I prioritize to attend,” said Ross Cully, co-founder and managing partner for The Harvest Group, “because it has a holistic focus—work, faith, and life— in a format that is friendly to a busy professional —a quarterly, over lunch, in Northwest Arkansas. My team leaves FUSE encouraged from networking with other professionals and challenged with a page of practical notes from the speaker.”

The August featured speaker is Steve Graves, an early pioneer of the faith@work movement and co-author of nearly a dozen books on leadership, business and the faith/work movement including two co-authored by best-selling author John Maxwell. Steve has spent the last 30 years advising CEO's, entrepreneurs and business owners. He is an entrepreneur and author who is passionate about helping leaders flourish in their life and work.  Steve’s newest book, The Hero Leader: Why Effective Leaders Combine Strengths and Weaknesses will be the topic of his talk. David Roth, president, WorkMatters noted “Steve has been involved in the faith@work movement from its infancy; he has incredible insight into what it takes to be an effective leader and how to do it with a biblical principles as the foundation. His vast experience and real-life stories will make for a powerful event for our FUSE attendees.”

Individual tickets are $20 and tables of ten are available for $180.  Sponsorships are also available.  For more information or to purchase tickets, visit our website at www.workmatters.org.
