Regina Hampton To Seek State Auditor’s Post

Regina Stewart Hampton says she will seek the Democratic nomination for Arkansas Auditor of State.
Current Auditor Charlie Daniels (D) says he will not run for re-election.
Hampton is a 12-year veteran of the office working in the Unclaimed Property Division of the office.
No other Democrats have announced for the office and two Republicans – Ken Yang and State Rep. Andrea Lea – have declared they will seek the Auditor’s post.
