Beebe announces 28 appointments to boards, commissions
Gov. Mike Beebe on Tuesday (Feb. 19) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:
Douglas Avery, Texarkana, reappointed to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017.
Rick Benson, Imboden, to the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2019. Replaces Bill Gipson.
Paul Beran, Fort Smith, to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017. Replaces Harold Lassiter.
Buddy Chadick, Fayetteville, to the Board of Correction. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2019. Replaces Drew Baker.
Steven Cranford, Sims, to the Contractors Licensing Board. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2017. Replaces Randy McNulty.
Vanessa Davis, Little Rock, reappointed to the Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 31, 2015.
William Lee Dawkins, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Oil and Gas Commission. Appointment expires Feb. 20, 2019.
Mary Elizabeth Eldridge, Arkadelphia, reappointed to the State Forestry Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2022.
Reynaldo Hernandez, Rogers, to the Benton County Quorum Court. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2014. Replaces Franklin Scott.
Jerry Langley, Smackover, reappointed to the Oil and Gas Commission. Appointment expires Feb. 20, 2019.
Dr. John Lynch, Jonesboro, reappointed to the Breast Cancer Control Board. Appointment expires Jan. 1, 2017.
Dr. Linda McGhee, Prairie Grove, reappointed to the Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 31, 2015.
Gaylon Riggs, Green Forest, to the Carroll County Quorum Court. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2014. This is an open position.
Steve Russell, Little Rock, reappointed to the Contractors Licensing Board. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2017.
Sheriff Larry Sanders, Hot Springs, reappointed to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017.
Scott Sullivan, DeQueen, to the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020. Replaces James Smith.
Steven Smith, Mountain Home, to the Arkansas Deaf and Hearing Impaired Telecommunications Services Corporation. Appointment expires June 1, 2014. Replaces James "J.T." Meister.
Anthony Utsey, Hot Springs, reappointed to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. Appointment expires Jan. 26, 2015.
