Scott Street appointed to Arvest Bank board
Scott Street, CEO of Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas, has joined the board of directors for Arvest Bank in Benton County.
“Scott is a dynamic addition to our board at Arvest Bank,” said Dennis Smiley, CEO of Arvest Bank Benton County. “His business and professional judgment is rivaled only by his involvement and interest in his community.”
Before moving to Rogers in 2010, Street was the president and CEO of Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Okla., where he was awarded the American Hospital Association’s Shirley Ann Munroe Leadership Award.
He was the chief operating officer at St. Bernards HealthCare in Jonesboro from 1999 to 2003. He started his career in healthcare at Baptist Health in Little Rock as assistant vice president from 1991 to 1992, then as vice president from 1992 to 1999.
Street earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ouachita Baptist University and master’s degree from the University of Missouri.
He serves on many local boards, including the Arkansas Hospital Association board; the Northwest Arkansas Council; Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce board; Ouachita Baptist University board; Mercy-YMCA NWA board; NWA Mayor’s Council; and the American Heart Association board.
Elsewhere in Arkansas he serves on the Bank of Cave City board; Sharp Bancshares, Inc., board; Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Business Advisory Board; and the Ouachita Baptist University’s Gridiron Club board. He also provides his time as a volunteer youth league coach.
Street and his wife, Christine, have a daughter and three sons. The family attends First Baptist Church of Rogers, where he serves as a deacon.
