In this intense three-day indoor workshop students will work on using field studies and other reference materials to create studio landscape paintings. The class will start with an abbreviated lecture on the fundamentals of sound painting. From these fundamentals, students will proceed to work on their own studio landscape paintings. Students should bring reference materials such as plein air sketches, field studies and photographs. Fee: $400; $350 for RAM members. Last day to register: March 22, 2013.
