Goodwill opens second Fayetteville location

FAYETTEVILLE — Goodwill will open a second Fayetteville store and employment training center Thursday (Sept. 13) at 705 E. Appleby Rd..
The new store – 14,600 square feet –  is in the former Aldi grocery site adjacent to Fiesta Square Shopping Center just off College Ave.

The new Goodwill site will bring about 20 new jobs to the area, according to the release.

Aside from the retail center and drop off station the Appleby site will be one of three employment training centers the nonprofit runs across Northwest Arkansas.

The training center provides a wide a range of services free to the public such as computer classes, resume writing and help with job searches.

The nonprofit training centers assisted nearly 2,500 local residents last year, which led to 500 job placements.

Goodwill operates six locations in Northwest Arkansas.
