Crystal Bridges’ GenArt members are now “artinfusion” group
BENTONVILLE — “Artinfusion” is the new name given the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art’s giving group formerly known as GenArt.
The group boasts about 270 members, mostly age 21 to 45. The group was created with special networking and art experiences in mind. The new name, selected by a steering committee of members is representative of the group, said member Kristy Reed.
“The young professionals group at Crystal Bridges is the perfect mix of culture and fun,”said Reed. “When coming up with our new name, we liked the playful combination of smashing the words ‘art’ and ‘infusion’ together to create a new word. Certainly, our experience infuses our members with art and culture.”
The organization is sponsored by Premier Dermatology and MillerCoors.
Artinfusion offers regular special events for its membership that feature art talks by curators, art-making activities, live music and specialty food and drink. The next event is the ArtMazing Race, a scavenger hunt, Aug. 11. Details will be posted on the Crystal Bridges‘ Facebook page.
The museum has more than 6,000 family memberships.
