Appointments made for Arkansas boards and commissions

Gov. Mike Beebe on Tuesday (July 31) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:
 
Jerry Adams, Lonoke, to the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. Appointment expires June 1, 2015. Replaces Tony Smith.

Wayne Branton, Wilmot, reappointed to the Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Joe Christian, Jonesboro, reappointed to the Arkansas Rice Research and Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Shannon Davis, Bono, reappointed to the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Dr. Darren Flamik, Roland, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2015.

John Gray, Nashville, to the Governor's Trauma Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2016. Replaces Myra Wood.

West Higginbothom, Marianna, reappointed to the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Steve Kueter, Paragould, reappointed to the Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Al Lowery, Pine Bluff, reappointed to the Southeast Arkansas College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires July 1, 2019.

Randy Matthews, Little Rock, reappointed to the Board of Electrical Examiners of the State of Arkansas. Appointment expires June 15, 2016.

Brent Mitchell, Little Rock, reappointed to the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children. Appointment expires July 20, 2015.

Bryan Moery, Wynne, reappointed to the Arkansas Rice Research and Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Andrew Oliver, Marion, reappointed to the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Tim Smith, Clarendon, reappointed to the Arkansas Wheat Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Robert Unwer, Maumelle, to the Board of Electrical Examiners of the State of Arkansas. Appointment expires June 15, 2016. Replaces Gary Ferrell.

Bob Williams, Fayetteville, reappointed to the Governor's Trauma Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2015.

Dennis Keith Woolverton, Pollard, reappointed to the Corn and Sorghum Promotion Board. Appointment expires July 1, 2014.

Scott Worth, Cabot, to the Arkansas Athletic Commission. Appointment expires July 15, 2013. Replaces Jason Stuart.
