Heuer graduates from Arkansas Leadership
Joy L. Heuer, manager of Fayetteville's Chamber of Commerce Leadership and greeNWAy Initiative, recently became a graduate of the "State Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Arkansas Class VI".
Leadership Arkansas is a program designed to take a statewide view of the economic and political challenges that face Arkansas. The program offers leadership opportunities that expand the impact of community leaders across the state. Created by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas, Leadership Arkansas builds a sense of statewide community by identifying and training individuals with the passion and commitment to become personally engaged in issues, programs and activities aimed at building a better Arkansas.
Leadership Arkansas Class VI graduated 39 leaders representing communities from across the state.
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce was recently accredited with 3 Stars by the United States Chamber of Commerce.This accreditation recognition continues for the next five years. Presently there are 6,936 chambers of commerce in the United States. Of this total number, only 223 chambers are accredited. The Fayetteville Chamber is now in the top 3% of all chambers in the U.S.
