Boulden receives public relations award
Jennifer Boulden, former communications and event services coordinator for the Fort Smith Advertising and Promotion (A&P) Commission has been honored by her industry colleagues as the Public Relations Professional of the Year, by the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
At the annual ceremony hosted in Fayetteville, Boulden was recognized for her contributions to the Public Relations Chapter, and her work during her tenure with the Fort Smith A&P.
Included in her list of achievements was the success of the “Gritapalooza” campaign which drew international attention to Fort Smith upon of re-release of the film “True Grit.”
The fictional story of a young girl determined to avenge the murder of her father with the help of a Deputy U.S. Marshal was set in the frontier days of Fort Smith.
Boulden is now the manager of Social Media for Little Rock-based Aristotle Inc.
