Liberty Bank breaks ground on new facility
Liberty Bank of Arkansas is set to build a new banking center at the corner of Joyce Boulevard and Vantage Drive in Fayetteville.
Bank officials broke ground Tuesday afternoon, (March. 6) and plan to construct a two-story, 22,000 square foot financial center to facilitate the bank’s regional growth. The project is slated for completion in November.
Mark P. Fowler, Liberty Bank of Arkansas Vice Chairman, said the new larger facility will allow the bank to consolidate some of the region’s operations under one roof.
The ground floor will be a full-service commercial banking center and the second level will house the region’s administration, mortgage loan department and operations.
“We are excited about the construction of our new flagship bank in Northwest Arkansas,” said Howard R. Hamilton, the bank’s northwest regional president and chief operating officer. “It shows Liberty Bank’s commitment to serving the life-long financial needs of our customers in Northwest Arkansas.”
Liberty Bank has 45 banking centers throughout Arkansas with northwest locations in Bentonville, Clarksville, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Gentry, Rogers, Siloam Springs, Springdale, Tontitown and Van Buren.
Liberty Bank of Arkansas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Liberty Bancshares Inc. and has assets in excess of $2.8 billion.
