Controlled burns at Crystal Bridges
If you smell something burning in the vicinity of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art this month and next, it's not the smell of $1.4 billion going up in flames.
The museum will be conducting a series of controlled burns on the Crystal Bridges grounds. The goal of the burns is to enhance the woodlands, stimulate grown of native species, and cut down on the risk of future wildfires to the area around the museum. Specific dates and times will be published as they are known. The Crystal Bridges trails will be closed during the burns.
