Arvest promotes Lisa Ray
Veteran banker Lisa Ray was selected by Arvest Bank as the new CEO and president for the bank’s Springdale market.
Ray replaces CEO Dennis Smiley effective April 1, when he relocates to head up Arvest Benton County following the retirement of David Short.
Since 2006, Ray has served Arvest Siloam Springs as CEO. She began her banking career with Arvest in 1989 as a management trainee. Ray and husband David have two children.
Arvest, with $11.99 billion in assets, operates more than 230 bank branches in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma. The bank’s majority owner is Jim Walton, son of Wal-Mart founders Helen and Sam Walton.
