Gov. Mike Beebe today (Jan. 25) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Johnny Allison, Conway, reappointed to the Arkansas State Police Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2019.

James Bacquet, Russellville, to the Central Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Commission. Appointment expires Sept. 29, 2013. Replaces Bernard Bevill.

Dr. Kenneth Barnes, Conway, to the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2014. Replaces Kyle Miller.

Elizabeth Bowles, Little Rock, to the State Banking Board. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2016. Replaces Creed Spann.

Kenneth Gill, Little Rock, reappointed to the State Real Estate Commission. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2014.

David Hargrave, Lowell, reappointed to the Residential Building Contractors Committee. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2014.

Jean Hervey, Plumerville, reappointed to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2018.

Floyd "Stephen" Hicks, Doddridge, reappointed to the Garland Levee District Board of Directors. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2017.

Claud Irvin, Cabot, as Lonoke County Justice of the Peace for District #13. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2012. Replaces Mark Edwards.

William McKenzie, Bentonville, to the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics Commission. Appointment expires Nov. 9, 2016. Replaces Edward "Sandy" Sanders.
 
George Overbey, Lamar, to the Central Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Commission. Appointment expires Sept. 29, 2013. Replaces Laura Gilson.

Brenda Scisson, Little Rock, reappointed to the War Memorial Stadium Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2019.

Shane Dallas, Caldwell.
David Kirkpatrick, Magnolia.
Mike Scrima, Oakland. Replaces Charles Gangluff.
Fred Taylor, Clarksville.

These appointments expire Oct. 14, 2014, and are reappointments unless otherwise noted.
