Jason Tolbert is a CPA in central Arkansas who has been involved in state politics for the past 13 years. He began blogging during the 2008 election cycle and has become one of the leading conservative writers in the state. He writes a weekly Sunday column for Stephens Media’s Arkansas News Bureau.

His work has been picked up nationally by news organizations including Fox News, CNN, The New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Politico called Tolbert “a must-read Arkansas political blog” and National Hotline listed Tolbert in its “Ultimate State-by-State Guide to Political Media.”

He also appears weekly on KARN Newsradio 920 to offer analysis and commentary, including election night coverage. In 2010, Tolbert was featured in Talk Business Quarterly’s “Young Guns” as one of the most influential young politicos in Arkansas.

Tolbert is a native of Wynne, Arkansas and is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. He lives in Benton with his wife and two young sons.
