Alice Faye Kitchens, 69 of Arkoma passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born June 8, 1943 in Spiro, OK to the late Noah and Oma Fay Mahan. She was a member of Arkoma Assembly of God. She was an LPN for St. Edward Mercy Medical Center and Methodist Nursing Home. She was President of the Arkoma Senior Citizen’s Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son William Scott Barham and her brother Joe Frank Mahan.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 24th 2012 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith with burial to follow at the New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by her husband William “Dub” Kitchens of the home; two daughters Bekki Bell of Arkoma, Lorraine Kruskopp of Little Axe, OK; one son Brian Barham of Poteau; sister Patricia Bruso of Ft. Smith; brother Wayne Mahan of Poteau; her special friend Dora Yarbrough of Ft. Smith and five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Smith, Dennis Dooley, John Housley, Carl Dollar, Tommy Bright, and Brian Barham. Honorary pallbearers will be Otis Kitchens, Joey Mancuso, and Steve Kruskopp.
