SBA hires Northwest Arkansas senior area manager

Jeffrey Salzer has been hired as the Northwest Arkansas senior area manager for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Arkansas District Office.
Salzer will be based in Fayetteville and be SBA’s representative for direction and delivery of the agency’s programs and services for the northwest and west central areas of the state.
Salzer joins the Arkansas District Office after spending three years as an economic development specialist in SBA’s Oklahoma District Office.
In this role, he was instrumental in providing contracting support to local small businesses resulting in more than $95 million in federal government contracts. His partnerships and strategic alliances proved instrumental in delivering entrepreneurship support to Oklahoma’s 336,000 small businesses.
Before joining SBA, Salzer owned and operated an international consulting firm for small to medium size enterprises. His past roles also include director of marketing and public relations for a telecom provider, where he worked with three subsidiaries.
Salzer is a U.S. Army veteran, and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in international business from St. Bonaventure University. He earned an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
