McLarty Automotive Group to add $10 million Nissan dealership in Benton

McLarty Automotive Group (MAG), led by Mark McLarty, announced it will build a new McLarty Nissan dealership off Interstate 30 in Benton. The dealership is expected to create 75 new jobs, bringing MAG’s total employment in central Arkansas to more than 500.

The official groundbreaking for McLarty Nissan of Benton will take place on Wednesday, September 28 at 19960 Interstate 30. The facility will be 30,000 square feet and cost nearly $10 million. It will be the first dealership in Arkansas with Nissan’s brand new 2.0 redesign.
MAG currently owns and operates six automotive dealerships in central Arkansas. They include McLarty Honda, McLarty Nissan of Little Rock, McLarty Nissan of North Little Rock, McLarty Mazda, McLarty Volkswagen and McLarty Auto Sales. Based in Little Rock, the McLarty Automotive Group owns and operates 17 dealerships with nearly 1,500 employees. It represents Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Lincoln, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Ram, Toyota and Volkswagen.
