Little Rock architecture firm WER enters Northwest Arkansas market with Fayetteville office

WER Architects/Planners of Little Rock has opened a second office in Fayetteville. The office is temporarily located at 2241 Green Acres Road.
The Northwest Arkansas is office is staffed by John Langham, who spent the last decade as a founding partner and principal of Core Architects in Rogers.
“We are thrilled to welcome John to the WER team and strengthen our presence in Northwest Arkansas,” David Sargent, chief executive officer of WER, said in a news release. “We have always enjoyed working in this part of the state and are excited about the new opportunities we will be able to offer our clients by having a daily presence. We know John’s experience and knowledge of the Northwest Arkansas market, along with his energy and passion for architecture, will be a wonderful asset.”
WER was founded in Little Rock in 1978 and has 24 employees. Katie Dimitrova, WER’s director of marketing, said the firm is “actively searching” for additional staff to join Langham in the Northwest Arkansas office.
Some of the firm’s projects in Northwest Arkansas include Founders Hall at the University of Arkansas, a 78,000-square-foot residence hall and dining facility that opened in fall 2013. Langham, while with Core, and WER collaborated on the project.
“Since teaming up on Founders Hall at the University of Arkansas, I’ve had a great admiration for the tremendous level of talent and time-proven process employed by WER,” Langham said. “I’m honored to be a part of the firm and lead our day-to-day efforts in Northwest Arkansas, an area that has shaped my professional career, and is home for my family.”
WER has also designed other notable projects on the UA campus, including the Don Tyson Center for Agricultural Sciences and the Fowler Family Baseball and Track Training Center.
