Fayetteville hotel near Baum Stadium to debut $3 million upgrade on Aug. 8

The 109-room Staybridge Suites Fayetteville in University Village Center has completed a $3 million renovation.

The four-story hotel at 1577 W. 15th St., near Baum Stadium, was built in 2008 and is owned by Little Rock hotel management firm Beechwood Hospitality. Wally Allen is the managing partner.

Beechwood paid $11.8 million for the 2.3-acre property in April 2016 and invested in the following renovations:

  • Replaced all furnishings in the hotel
  • All new appliances in full kitchenettes
  • New cabinets, countertops, flooring and soft goods throughout the hotel
  • New fitness center with individual television/audio on machines
  • Refurbished patio area with new outdoor furniture and fire pit

Beechwood also owns the Hilton Garden Inn and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton in Bentonville. Each of those properties has also undergone a similar renovation since being acquired in April 2016.

Beechwood paid $19 million for the DoubleTree (140 rooms) at 301 S.E. Walton Blvd., and $11.8 million for the Hilton Garden Inn (133 rooms) at 2204 S.E. Walton Blvd.

Staybridge Suite Fayetteville will host a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting with the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m. Aug. 8.
