Bio-Tech obtains independent approval for D3-50 vitamin

Bio-Tech Pharmacal, a Fayetteville-based nutraceutical manufacturer, has received approval for its D3-50, or Vitamin D3-50,000 IU. ConsumerLab.com LLC, which independently tests products and publishes the results on its website, evaluated and approved the Bio-Tech D3-50 vitamin.

ConsumerLab.com tested the vitamin to ensure it contained a minimum of 100% and not more than 165% of the amount of vitamin D and vitamin D3 as shown on the label.

Dale Benedict, president, CEO and owner of Bio-Tech Pharmacal, was thrilled with the test results and to receive the company’s seal of approval but wasn’t surprised. “These results confirm our extensive in-house, as well as third party, testing,” he said. “Bio-Tech Pharmacal is committed to only the highest quality manufacturing and analytical testing systems and practices.
