i’Mindful Studio, a meditation space based in Fayetteville, opened a Bentonville location on Feb. 20 at 1501 S.E. Walton Blvd., Suite 203.

The Bentonville studio offers guided meditation, in addition to classes like Mindful Movements, Sound Meditation, Unwind and Wine! Class, Gratitude Meditation, Desk Remedy and Kids Yoga, according to a press release.

“This space has been a dream for a long time and we are honored to finally meet the need and provide it,” owner Jay Amargos said in the release.

Amargos founded i’Mindful Studio in Fayetteville last fall. Before that, she served as executive consultant for Startup Junkie Consulting. Her career started in banking, where she worked for 12 years at Arvest Bank.

She became involved with meditation as a method to help cope with the chronic disease lupus, from which she has suffered since 2013 and noticed an opening and a need for specifically trained and certified mindful teachings in Northwest Arkansas.

Amargos also recently started the i’Mindful Gives Back Foundation, which is focused on providing cost-free mindful and meditation sessions to military veterans, police officers, firefighters, teachers and “other specific service men and women across Northwest Arkansas in high stress jobs,” according to the website.

i’Mindful is hosting a grand opening open house 6:30-8:30 p.m. on March 16 at the Bentonville studio.
