REPUBLICANS IN CLEVELAND
GOP chairman Doyle Webb said that the FBI determination not to recommend charges against Democratic Presidential presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton makes him “skeptical of the judicial system in Washington.”

“I think it confirms that there is one level of justice for the Clintons and one level of justice for everyone else,” Webb said. “It leaves the public wondering, ‘well, what justice is there for me, Joe Bag-of-Donuts.'”

Will there be a “DumpTrump” revolt in Cleveland next week at the GOP national convention?

“I don’t think this one will be that contentious. I think there will be some good entertainment. I think there will be some people who Donald Trump was not their first choice, but I’m going to tell you that the overwhelming majority of delegates will be supportive and excited, and we will leave Cleveland excited about who our nominee is,” he said.

Despite other loyalties in the Republican primary, Webb also said that Arkansas’ GOP faithful will come home to Trump in November.

“Certainly, Donald Trump doesn’t meet everyone’s expectations and I believe that you will see strong Republicans disagreeing with Trump on some issues, some principled issues – which there’s nothing wrong with that. We have a system that allows that. But when the day comes for the vote to be cast, they will vote for Donald Trump for President of the United States.”
