Join the Center For Art & Education during the month of August and learn how to see with a camera.
Photographer J. P. Bell will share his photo collection of Van Buren and Martin Duckworth will present a collection of his work exploring the boundaries beyond Van Buren.
Bell will also present his video and lecture on "The Evolution of Photography" at the gallery opening. This free lecture is designed to be accessible to non-specialists and anyone interested in the visual arts or who enjoys photography. Bell has photographed in the Ozarks, across the United States, Africa, the Middle East, South America, and Europe.
Local amateur photographers Larry Millican, Jim Anderson, Charles Knowles, and Jeff Willard will display their work taken during this year's "Van Buren on Camera." These photos were taken of all four seasons and capture images of historic areas, neighborhoods, and many of our favorite local places.
The opening reception will be August 2nd, 1 to 4 p.m.
Exhibit dates are August 2-28, 2015.
