North Little Rock-based Edafio Technology Partners, a managed services IT company located in Arkansas, is merging with Coleman Technologies, an Arkansas-based IT services company for medical clinics.

The combined firms began operating as Edafio Technology Partners on July 1. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We are excited to officially announce that Edafio Technology Partners has merged with Coleman Technologies,” said Keith Woodruff, president and CEO of Edafio Technology Partners. “Both companies share similar goals and values so the transition to operate as one company will be a smooth one.”

Don Coleman said, “Merging the two companies will mean a larger team with a wider range of engineering skills that will benefit our customers all over the state. Both Keith and I worked together at IBM earlier in our career and we share the same philosophy of commitment to our clients success.”

The combined firms will staff 28 full-time engineers and offer services that include business continuity, disaster recovery, cloud/hosting solutions, as well as on-site and remote engineering services.

Edafio has also opened a new office in Rogers. The Northwest Arkansas Edafio team will include John Grau, senior engineer, Chris Schwilling, systems engineer and Brian Taylor, vice president of business consulting.
