Fort Smith RAM to offer discounts to military members and families

The Fort Smith Regional Art Museum will participate this summer in Blue Star Museums and offer half price RAM Family memberships to all active-duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day, May 26, 2014 through Labor Day, Sept. 1, 2014.

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment of the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America. Active duty military include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and active duty National Guard and active duty Reserve members.

This year, more than 2,000 museums in all 50 states are taking part in the initiative, including more than 300 new museums this year. Blue Star Museums represent all art museums, including science museums, history museums, nature centers, and 70 children's museums.
