We are a 501(c) 3 Public Non-Profit Organization committed to creating a first class family discovery center in Northwest Arkansas, the AMAZEUM.
Our mission is to engage the imagination of children and their families through interactive exhibits and programs, and resources while creating an excitement for lifelong learning and the enrichment of lives.
The goal of the AMAZEUM team is to establish the museum focusing on the entire family, from young children to grandparents, through interaction, creativity, education, and socialization while fostering parent, business, and individual engagement at all levels.
As you are aware, AMAZEUM, Board President, Bob Arvin announced this summer the anticipated groundbreaking of the AMAZEUM (formerly known as The Children's Museum of NWA) in early 2014. At a projected 45,000 square feet, the AMAZEUM is expected to open in late 2015. The building will be located on J Street near Crystal Bridges, and will incorporate Past, Present, and Future themes. Additionally, the project will feature a 45,000 square foot outdoor exploration area inspired by the seasons.
The 7th Annual Dancing with the Stars of NWA gala will be held on March 8, 2014 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers, Arkansas. Last year, our fundraiser sold out with over 650 in attendance. This year promises to be even more exciting! Our event features a sit-down meal, silent and live auctions, and as the signature feature of the evening, our 5 Celebrity Dancers will perform with their Professional Dance Partners.

We are honored that Tony Rogers, Walmart SVP of Marketing, has again agreed to be our Honorary Chair for the event. Our Celebrity Dancers for 2014 are, Tina Winham (Nuk), Cindy Mac Naughton, Dr. Missy Clifton (Premier Dermatology), Wyley Elliott (Celebrate Magazine) and Rod Bigelow (Crystal Bridges).
Proceeds from this event will continue to support the progress of the AMAZEUM.
