Gov. Mike Beebe (D) today announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Tonya Butzlaff, Hot Springs, to the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2016. Replaces Dennis Emerson.

Adam Davis, Marianna, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine. Appointment expires September 1, 2016.

Alex Dellinger, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine. Appointment expires September 1, 2016. Replaces Kent Magrini.

Scott Ellington, Jonesboro, to the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2016. Replaces Larry Jegley.

Joy Figarsky, Little Rock, to the Children’s Behavioral Health Care Commission. Appointment expires August 15, 2014. Replaces Jennifer Gallaher.

Jean Harper, Malvern, to the Public Transportation Coordination Council. Appointment expires September 20, 2017. Replaces Larry Reynolds.

Reta Hudson, Texarkana, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine. Appointment expires September 1, 2016.

Gary Morgan, Saint Joe, reappointed to the State Board of Examiners of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Appointment expires September 14, 2017.

Derrick Newby, Pine Bluff, to the State Board of Sanitarians. Appointment expires June 30, 2014. Replaces Mary Smith.

Ross Noland, Little Rock, to the Committee for the Study of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation Procedures. Appointment expires August 15, 2014. This is a new position.

Lott Rolfe IV, North Little Rock, to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. Appointment expires July 1, 2015. Replaces Michael Bingham.

Martha Fisher Simpson, Crossett, to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2016. Replaces Delois Sykes.

Kelley Smith, England, to the Arkansas Early Childhood Commission. Appointment expires July 1, 2015. Replaces Barbara Gilkey.
