The newly-formed Northeast Arkansas Political Animals Club hosts its first meeting at noon on Friday, Sept. 13 and the event is a sell-out.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Asa Hutchinson is the featured speaker. The group’s Facebook page says the event is at full capacity at the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce.

The NEA Political Animals Club has also scheduled its second forum and it will include all seven candidates for the State Senate District 21 seat, which was vacated by Sen. Paul Bookout (D).

“We are proud to announce the details of our second meeting. All seven State Senate candidates, Democrats and Republicans, will be featured in an one hour lunch meeting on Friday October 4th noon at the Jonesboro Chamber.

Political Animals is cosponsored by the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce.
