Willie and Uncle Si and other members of the Duck Dynasty crew will travel to Northwest Arkansas in October as part of an event produced by Cox Communications.

“Duck Dynasty,” cable network A&E's most-watched series, features the Robertsons, a Louisiana bayou family living the American dream as they operate a thriving business while still staying true to their family values and modest lifestyle.

After a record number 11.8 million viewers tuned into the “Duck Dynasty” hour-long season premiere, the show officially became “the number one non-fiction telecast in cable history.” The Robertsons will entertain the crowd with stories of their successes and how they live, along with lessons and moments they’ve shared along the way.

“Field of Ducks” is set to begin at 3 p.m., on Oct. 20, at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, with Cox providing about 2,000 free event tickets.

“Cox is so glad to be part of the Springdale community, and we’re looking very forward to bringing this special treat to residents of this region,” said Kim Rowell, market vice president of Arkansas for the Cox Central Region. “We know the Robertson family has a unique and wonderful way of connecting with people, and we’re anxious to welcome and introduce them to their fans in northwest Arkansas.”

Expected to attend are Willie and his wife Korie, Kay Robertson and Uncle Si Robertson.

Willie is the executive producer of Duck Dynasty and Buck Commander, which is a show about “Willie and the Buckmen” traveling the country to chase white-tail deer.

The event begins at 3 p.m., with live music scheduled, with the Robertsons’ presentation scheduled for 6 to 7:15 p.m.

Vendor booths and a kid’s area featuring face-painting and inflatables will be part of the event.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 25, 2013 and prices will range from $25 to $75 each. Children age 3 and under are admitted free of charge. To purchase tickets visit www.nwanaturals.com or call (877) 44-2637 or Arvest Ballpark Box Office at (479) 927-4900. Phone hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
