The Arkansas Society of CPAs sends along a note that may be of interest to our business readers.

The IRS has developed a web site that explains certain provisions of the new federal health care law and its implications on individuals and companies.

The web site – IRS.gov/aca – outlines tax credits, employer responsibilities, and tax provisions for insurers, including Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

The web site has three sections, which explain the tax benefits and responsibilities for individuals and families, employers, and other organizations, with links and information for each group.

The site also provides information about tax provisions that are in effect now and those that will go into effect in 2014 and beyond.
