The Democratic Party of Arkansas today unveiled the keynote speaker for their annual Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner.
Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm is the headline speaker for the J-J Dinner scheduled for June 13 at the Statehouse Convention Center at 7 pm.
If Granholm’s speech is anything like the one she gave at last year’s Democratic National Convention, then folks will not be bored to say the least.
The J-J Dinner is the state party’s largest fundraiser and is always a fun time for Democratic politicos. There are also likely to be pre-parties and after-parties that the DPA will unveil soon. I’ll give an update once those details are settled.
