Gov. Mike Beebe (D) today announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Billy Bunn, Arkadelphia, reappointed to the Residential Building Contractors Committee. Appointment expires October 1, 2015.

Dr. David Busby, Alma, reappointed to the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Advisory Committee. Appointment expires October 1, 2016.

Chief Stacey Caplener, Pleasant Plains, reappointed to the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. Appointment expires October 14, 2015.

Reverend Steve Copley, North Little Rock, to the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Advisory Committee. Appointment expires October 1, 2016. Replaces Dr. Dan Hawkins.

Sam Elardo, Helena-West Helena, reappointed to the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board. Appointment expires October 1, 2015.

Joe Griffith, Holly Grove, to the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board. Appointment expires October 1, 2015. Replaces Nathan “Andrew” Bagley.

Dr. George Haas, North Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Dispensing Opticians. Appointment expires June 30, 2015.

Linda Hanson, Little Rock, to the State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists. Appointment expires October 1, 2017. Replaces James Stephens.

Richard Harp, Little Rock, reappointed to the Residential Building Contractors Committee. Appointment expires October 1, 2015.

Marvin Helms, Arkadelphia, to the Grade “A” Milk Program Advisory Committee. Appointment expires July 31, 2013. Replaces Larry Fielder.

Reverend Dexter Howard, Sr., Fayetteville, reappointed to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission. Appointment expires September 1, 2016.

Reggie Jackson, Conway, reappointed to the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board. Appointment expires October 1, 2015.

Chief Wrotie Koller, Tuckerman, to the State Fire Prevention Commission. Appointment expires July 18, 2015. Replaces Cary Bennett.

Wonder Lowe, Little Rock, to the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Advisory Committee. Appointment expires October 1, 2016. Replaces Barbara Kumpe.
