First District Congressman Rick Crawford (R) launched his first television ad of the 2012 campaign.
The ad focuses on Crawford’s supporting for a Balanced Budget Amendment and his votes to repeal Obamacare. Crawford also plays up his veteran’s service.
“In the Army I was a bomb technician, and I can tell you our $16 trillion national debt is a ticking time bomb,” Crawford says in the ad. “Every child born today already owes $50,000, and they owe most of it to countries like China. It’s just wrong.”
The commercial began airing this morning on stations in Little Rock and Jonesboro.

Crawford faces Democratic challenger Scott Ellington, Libertarian candidate Jessica Paxton, and Green Party nominee Jacob Holloway.
