Nathan Vandiver with our content partner, KUAR-FM 89 News, reports on a group of trade officials and ambassadors touring Arkansas this week.
The group is here courtesy of a State Department program that aims to foster new economic partnerships and opportunities.
From Vandiver’s report:
A group of ambassadors of 43 foreign countries are touring Arkansas Monday and Tuesday to learn about the state’s cuture and business opportunities.
They are part of an Experience America tour conducted by the US Department of State. It’s a way for foreign dignitaries to visit areas and develop contacts in the US outside of Washington D.C.
For businesses and governments in the places they visit, the tour is a chance to develop trade relations.
