Arkansas Democrats Fight Back

There’s been a lot of attention paid to the activities of shady, out-of-state groups attempts to trash Arkansas and buy a State Legislature that will do their bidding.  Various press reports indicate they plan to spend mega-bucks on direct mail, newspaper and radio ads.

Arkansas Democrats are fighting back with their own mail pieces to Arkansas voters. Here is one they sent out behalf of Senator Steve Harrleson and I understand they sent similar ones to candidates in other targeted legislative races.

On one side, the mail piece smartly highlight’s the $730,000,000 in tax cuts Arkansas has received under the leadership of Governor Mike Beebe and thanks Steve Harrleson for supporting the Beebe agenda.

On the other side of the mail piece, the DPA goes after the special interests who are trashing Arkansas and tie Harrelson’s opponent, Jimmy Hickey, to these groups and their shadowy agenda.

I expect the DPA will do many more mail pieces on behalf of their candidates.

This cycle, Arkansas Democrats are fighting back.
