Rep. Terry Rice (R-Waldron) will be the new Arkansas Speaker of the House if Republicans take a majority in the upcoming election, which let’s be honest, is all but certain.
Rice is wasting no time taking a leadership role with the party in several ways, such as his leadership PAC – Rice Leadership PAC.
According to an invitation that went out today, the PAC will be hosting a fundraiser on Wednesday, September 12 at Copper Grill in Little Rock from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Contributions start at $250.
Impact Management Group, which is organizing the event, notes in the email sent with the invitation: “It looks to be a very exciting general election with probable historic changes in the make-up of the Arkansas legislature.”
According to the latest finance report, Rice Leadership PAC has raised $8,265.20 so far and has made contributions to 12 Republican House candidates.
