SPRINGDALE — Nationally syndicated talk show host Jerry Springer, the former Cincinnati mayor and news anchor, will throw out the first pitch of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball game on Aug. 10. His appearance comes at the pleasure of the television station Arkansas CW, which airs his syndicated program, The Jerry Springer Show ,weekdays at noon.
In addition to throwing our the first pitch, Springer will sign autographs before the game and will lead the seventh inning stretch with the traditional playing of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” He will also deliver the countdown for the Arkansas CW Friday Night Fireworks live from the field following the game.
Arkansas CW President and General Manager Brian Sather said Springer’s show is an anchor of the station’s lineup.
