Sparks Opens New Van Buren Office

Fort Smith-based Sparks Health System announced Monday morning the opening of a cardiology center in Van Buren.
The practice, located next to Summit Medical Center, is designed to provide convenient access to Sparks’ Van Buren patients. A staff of five board-certified cardiologists will staff the new Cardiology Center at Sparks — Van Buren.
Collectively, Drs. Sheharyar Ali, left, Nasser Adjei, Robert Parris, Ayhan Zia and Marino Leonardi have specialties that include interventional cardiology, non-invasive cardiology, invasive cardiology and electrophysiology. The doctors also will serve Summit patients with heart-related issues.
“Our top priority is to take excellent care of our patients,” Summit CEO Sue Conley said in a news release. “With the addition of a team of cardiologists, Crawford County patients will now have expert heart care in their own community.”
