Mountain Valley Spring Co., the Hot Springs-based bottled water company, filed notice with federal regulators that it intends to become a publicly-traded firm.
On Friday, Mountain Valley filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering of shares of the company’s common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined, the company said.
If successful, Mountain Valley has applied to have its shares listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the previously reserved symbol “WATR.”
Rodman & Renshaw, LLC, a subsidiary of Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group, Inc., will act as sole book-running manager for the offering, which it says will be made “only by means of a prospectus.”
Mountain Valley Spring Co. touts itself as a premium bottled water producer . The 140-year old company is headquartered in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas.
