Novus International is quadrupling its Arkansas workforce.

The advanced manufacturer’s Little Rock operation makes high-quality animal feed for the poultry, pork, cattle and aquaculture industries. The company will expand from 8 to 40 workers and make a sizable investment in its plant expansion.

Novus International, which has operations at the Little Rock Port, manufactures a feed supplement known as MHA – a dry, granular powder that provides an effective and environmentally friendly source of methionine, an essential amino acid in premixes and farm feed mills.

MHA provides benefits to laying hens and other livestock and companion animals.

The new expansion features a 45,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is also LEED-certified.

The products from Novus’ Arkansas plant will ship to more than 60 countries around the world.
