Chris Masingill, a former aide to Cong. Mike Ross and Sen. Blanche Lincoln, will be nominated by President Obama to serve as the Federal Co-Chair of the Delta Regional Authority (DRA).
Currently, Masingill serves as Gov. Mike Beebe’s director of the federal stimulus in Arkansas, which oversees the implementation of those funds to programs and entities in state.
The DRA is a federal-state partnership that serves 252 counties and parishes in parts of Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
Masingill’s nomination is subject to U.S. Senate confirmation.
