Republican U.S. Senate candidate Gilbert Baker appears ready to rally for his run-off cause.
Baker trailed GOP Senate front-runner John Boozman in our recent Talk Business Poll 46%-14%. He’s the strongest challenger of the seven other candidates who could force a run-off with Boozman.
Today, the Baker campaign revealed a new ad, which doesn’t attack or address Boozman by name, but it does attack a "broken Washington." The ad also showcases a side of Baker not seen in previous media settings.
He’s firebrand passionate.
In a rural setting, Baker delivers a “rally the troops” message claiming "it’s our time now.” It’s the most spirited delivery I’ve seen Baker make this campaign season.
Will it ignite his campaign? You decide. Baker officials say the ad starts statewide today on a combination of broadcast and cable TV buys.
