Razor Chemical has been creating green and safe products at this north side plant for seventeen years. When it was started, the owners of this small business saw a market need for environmentally friendly products to replace traditional solvents. They wanted to manufacture chemicals that could be bio-degradable with natural PH’s and have ingredients made from vegetable plants. But they needed help getting their products developed so they went to the experts.
The result was a non-ammonia, water based product that was so environmentally kind, it was perfect for engineers in factories. They could use it to spray and wipe equipment, put it in floor scrubbers or mop buckets and flush the waste down the sewer with no harmful effects. Now Razor Chemical has a simple but effective line of cleaners and disinfectants used regionally by manufacturers, cities and counties, as well as the Arkansas Department of Correction.
