Republican Senate frontrunner Cong. John Boozman reported $683,000 in his first quarter fundraising and a cash on hand balance of $563,000.  The contribution number includes money transferred from his congressional campaign, which had a balance of roughly $342,000, according to the Boozman campaign.

With that knowledge, it would appear that Boozman raised $341,000 for his Senate bid during the quarter.  He entered the crowded Republican primary in February 2010.

In our latest Talk Business Poll, Boozman led the eight-man Republican field with 46% of GOP primary voters.  State Sen. Gilbert Baker was his nearest challenger at 14%.
